Two ways to put the AI to work on your own history. Ask GoutMe is a chat for the questions you have; tests worth running are built from the patterns the statistics already found. Neither one gives general rules, neither tells you to give anything up, neither touches your medicines, and both stick to what your data shows.

Across 24 studies, only 46% of people with gout took their urate-lowering medicine at least 80% of the time.
Scheepers et al., Semin Arthritis Rheum 2018Ask GoutMe answers from what it actually sees in your data, with dates and counts. It does not give advice, it does not draw conclusions about causes, and it does not log anything for you. It never tells you to start, stop or change a medicine or a dose, and it never tells you to give up a food. Your messages go to the AI provider to generate the answer, there is a daily message allowance, and it is a place for questions to bring to your GP or rheumatologist, not for diagnoses.
Recommendations in Insights are built from the patterns What Happened found, across triggers, early signs, medicines, reliefs and activities. Each is two short sentences: what your own days show, with the numbers, then one week worth testing. A recommendation about beer only appears if beer actually showed up around your flares.
Dismiss anything that does not match your reality. The dismissal is tied to the evidence behind it, so the same suggestion for the same reason stays hidden. If a genuinely new pattern appears for the same item, it can come back, because the evidence is different.
The app says it on every info sheet: GoutMe is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Nothing here is medical advice. If a message mentions a fever with a hot joint, feeling very unwell, a recently injected or operated joint, chest pain or breathlessness, the AI stops analysing and says plainly that this needs urgent care now.
Ask GoutMe is on Home, under Risk today. The tests worth running sit at the top of Insights, grouped by category, each with the evidence line it was built from and a dismiss action. The AI setup runs at the start and again from Profile.
Enough history for patterns to exist, and Premium: the chat and the tests are part of the analysis layer. The chat has a daily message allowance. Dismiss anything that does not match your reality and it stays hidden.
Yes. Ask GoutMe and the tests worth running are part of Premium, along with the rest of Insights and the PDF report. New accounts get 14 days of Premium free.
A weekly notification tells you when a new pattern was found; the finding itself waits in Insights. Every notification can be switched off.
No. It describes what your own logs show, including how often a dose was missed if you logged it. Talk to your GP or pharmacist before changing any medicine.
